I've been bored and I began to search for the english dub cast of Death Note. I figured since the DVD release is really soon, and deathgod.org posted that a canadian tv station would be airing the dub starting in a month or so that I would be able to find a list....

It turns out the voices used in the third trailer on viz's site ARE NOT the final cast! THANK FUCKING GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ZOMG

Here it is... and I've looked up a few past notable roles each actor has played....


Light Yagami: Brad Swaile (Quatre from GUNDAM WING ZOMG! 'member when the Q went all crazy?! ^^)
L: Alessandro Juliani (Apparantly he played Lt. Felix Gaeta on the new Battlestar Galactica, but he also did Gambit's voice on X-Men Evolution, the teenage X-men show on the WB from a few years back.)
Souichirou Yagami: Chris Britton (He's on a bunch of shows and stuff that I've never watched lol... Well he WAS Mr. Sinister on the old X-men cartoon that aired on fox....)
Ryuuk: Brian Drummond (MOTHER FUCKING ZECHS MARQUISE FROM GUNDAM WING *FOAM NOSEBLEED*
Raye Penbar: Michael Adamthwaite (lol he was Collossus on X-Men Evolution, and he was a guy in Walking Tall... and...Ogata on Hikaru no Go)
Aizawa: Trevor Devall (LOL Pyro from X-Men Evolution... he was also someone on Gundam SEED.... Everyone that was on X-men Evo was in Gundam SEED.... lol)
Misa Amane: Shannon Chan-Kent (?) (Never heard of her)
Rem: Colleen Wheeler (Mystique from X-Men Evo lol)
Matsuda: Vincent Tong (Never heard of 'em)
Naomi: Tabitha St. Germain (X-Men and Gundam SEED lol)

They haven't cast anyone later in the series like Mello or Near...
